What never goes on somebody’s record

Every trade on this page tracks failure numbers, and several of the ones managers watch most closely describe something the worker did not do. Recording those against the person would make the record measure somebody else’s decision. Credda cannot see why a shift was missed, which is exactly why the line is written down instead of assumed.

  • A customer, patient, client or student who did not attend. A patient no-show, a delivery where nobody was home, a canceled lesson. That is the other party acting, and recording it against the worker measures something the worker did not do.
  • A shift, visit, call or job the business itself canceled, moved, overbooked or sent the worker home from.
  • Weather, road closures, site access, supply or parts delays, equipment failure, or a facility holding a worker up. Conditions outside the worker’s control.
  • Time off taken with notice under the business’s own policy, including sickness, caring responsibilities and statutory leave.
  • An opinion about the worker: attitude, manner, appearance, fit, personality. Credda records whether an agreed outcome happened. It does not record what anyone thought of the person.
  • Anything derived from a protected characteristic, or from personal information about the worker. The industries here describe kinds of work, never kinds of people.

How any of this reaches a score

The same way in every trade on this page. A confirmed outcome becomes evidence in a published formula, version 5.6, with five weights and six bands running from Distinguished down to At Risk. An outcome nobody else confirmed is still recorded, and it still shows on the record as a claim rather than as evidence. No plan and no payment moves a score, on any trade, at any price.

The full model is published, weights included, and how it works walks the loop end to end with a worked example.
